Philadelphia Lone Star FC-Liberia is an affiliate of Philadelphia Lone Star FC in the United States.
The Club has enjoyed an illustrious and rich history since its founding as Junior Lone Star Football Club in 2001 before becoming Philadelphia Lone Star Football Club in late 2018.
Founded in April 2001 by Bobby Ali, a Liberian immigrant in the United States, the club has grown from a single team of 12 players to more than 200 players on various teams competing in their respective competitive leagues within the United States.
In early 2018, the Club expanded to Liberia with the addition of Junior Lone Star FC-Liberia, now called Philadelphia Lone Star FC-Liberia.
Philadelphia Lone Star FC-Liberia started life in the Third Division during the 2018/2019 season, but the club was relegated to the Fourth Division; however, they gained promotion right back to the Third Division.
The club then spent two seasons in the Third Division before eventually gaining promotion to the Second Division after the 2022/2023 season.
Philadelphia Lone Star Football Club is incorporated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA as well as in Monrovia, Montserrado County, Liberia.
The Club is operated by its Board of Directors.
